I ordered their version of Electric Youth-Revlon, but it did not smell like how I remembered as a kid. I worked with Russel and a couple other people from customer service to get a replacement free of charge for something else. I chose Longing-Coty, and it smells really good, super close to what I remember from years ago! Along with my original order, I also purchased Hilfiger Peach Blossom as a gift for my sister since it can’t be found anywhere else and that was an old favorite of hers. It smells great and I’m hoping she loves it 🙂 It’s also nice that you can personalize the bottle for gift giving.

Fragrance Revival nailed it! It smells exactly like the original when it dried and it’s perfect. After 9 hours at work, I can still smell it and I’m reminded of why I love this scent so much.

This was truly a blind buy for me Never having smelled the original I only knew it sounded like something I would like and decided to see what Fragrance Revival could do. I was not disappointed. FR-1560 is a lovely floral fragrance, I smell the lilac right off then the other florals come in not in your face florals, just soft and beautiful. Dry down is not powdery, at least on me. So happy I took the chance. I can’t wait to see what else these talented folks can do!

I want to thank the mad perfumers of Fragrance Revival for making my 85yo mother-in-law’s Mother’s Day! She has been a diehard Miss Dior chypre-fan for decades, so I did buy her a few bottles and decants of Miss Dior Originale, Esprit de Parfum etc. as a kind of gentle walking tour thru Dior fragrance history. But the occasion wouldn’t have been complete without *some* way of smelling the original formulation from 1947. I told her that even if we found an unopened bottle of it in great-grandma’s cedar chest it would probably have gone off somewhat (i.e. would likely be a mild variant of brown applesauce) after 70+ years outside of a refrigerator. But your recreation – was it from GCMS or from a patent? – enabled her to smell a version that, while conforming to contemporary safety standards that did not exist in 1947, conveys that original fragrance as well as we could hope for in the 21st. She loves it and even my 90yo father-in-law gruffed that it smelled “fine” on her.

You helped me do what I as an apprentice perfumer could not do yet – and delivered it in great condition, personally and perfectly inscribed and on deadline – for this woman while she is still alive, kicking and able to appreciate it. I am deeply grateful and hope that she will be spared long enough to enjoy perhaps one more bottle now that you’ve done the hard work. While I will explore more FR offerings for the other women in my life, I also expect to come back for *myself* eventually. English Leather 1949, anyone? :-@)

I received my order yesterday and I must tell you that although I didn’t find it at all similar to David Yurman original, I was pleasantly surprised with the fragrance. It is very feminine and not overbearing. Yet it lasted from early evening until this morning. I can’t really identify the fragrance but I guess I would call it soft powdery with a bit of musky dry down. I’m very pleased and because it is so lovely I plan to keep it. I know you would offer to replace it, but I like it just the way it is. Thanks for a great productM

I ordered their version of Hot Topics Grumpy Bear perfume. The original smelled wonderful of pear and vanilla. The bottle I received from Fragrance Revival smells like 1950’s old lady perfume. Not even remotely close to the sweet fruity smell the original grumpy bear perfume is so loved for. I’m so disappointed. I couldn’t wait to breathe in that smell I longed for, and it looks like I’ll still have to.

No matter which fragrance you request that Fragrance Revival duplicate, they capture its essence and create a thing of beauty.

After reading your guarantee of “decide the fragrance smells like the original or it’s free,” I tried my best to dissect the scent and find every reason why it didn’t smell like the original. My signature scent since 2005 has been Michael by Michael Kors.

I decided to try the revival on this website; sad to say I am not happy. After wearing this perfume for close to 20yrs I know the smell , i understand it’s a “revival “ however the Kim Kardashian OG one smells more like it than this does.

I am going to order the Michael Kors by Michael Kors revival since many people confuse the two and that might be the one closer to what I want.

This was my husband’s favorite so I decided to try Fragrance Revival. They worked so hard on trying to get this right and it happened! My husband and I are elated that they were able recreate this. Not only did they get this right but they kept me informed during the entire process. We are big fans of this company!

My husbands cologne that he wore when we met was Avatar by Coty. I absolutely loved the scent but sadly it’s now discontinued I ordered it for him from here a couple years ago and we both absolutely love it. We ordered 3 bottles back then and we are placing an order for it now.

I really like the concept of this business and was looking forward to this fragrance again. However, it smells nothing remotely close to original. I A/B’d the scents and this version lacked the fruit/musk smell that Dare has. The Fragrance Revival version didn’t really smell like much of anything to me so I had my wife smell and she described it as smelling “clean”. Unfortunately missed the mark by a great distance.

I usually do not do reviews , but sometimes it is absolutely necessary. The customer service is amazing . Efficient and kind. They stand behind their product and their word. I highly recommend. Everything about this company is 5 stars.

My bad. I didn’t think to realize that this fragrance had to be carefully created to match the original. So, I was starting to get concerned about the time it took to be sent. However, it arrived and both of us are very pleased. The company is responsive and priced quite fairly. Highly recommended.
